It’s Easter weekend!
Although they don’t really celebrate it here in Japan, I still am!
I thought I’d make a list of things that I’m loving right now and will enjoy this weekend ♡ฅ(ᐤˊ꒳ฅˋᐤ♪)
(click the dark purple underlined words to link you to their websites)
1. Fresh Flowers:
There’s a lot of gorgeous bright flowers blooming at this time of year. I especially love tulips!
There’s so many beautiful colours to choose from, and they go perfectly with the Easter theme around your home.
Seeing these instantly makes me feel happy (°◡°♡).:｡
Pick some up for yourself or someone you love this weekend!
2. Easter Treats:
Holidays are always the best time to enjoy good food with family and friends.
Whether you make them yourself or you buy them at a store, everyone loves a cute little treat!
cookies: Dean & Deluca
Fred Ferkel (these are gelatine-free, vegetarian & my fav!): Plaza (they also have them in Marks & Spencer called ‘Percy Pigs’)
Various Easter Chocolate: Plaza
Doughnuts: Krispy Kreme, I picked these up for my agency on Friday night.
There’s so many adorable snacks in many bakeries and supermarkets right now! If you have the time, it’s always a great idea to bake with family, a friend, your boyfriend or girlfriend! (or even alone!)
It’s probably one of my favourite things to do, I find it so relaxing and a great way to spend time together with someone ♡
I feel like pinks work so well with Easter (and Spring in general!)..
I don’t know it just reminds me of a baby colour, a new thing, a fresh start, bright, pretty.. it just works well together
Blush: La Duree
Eye & Cheek Shimmers: Lancôme
Petite Bunny Gloss Bar (#1)- Tony Moly
Pure Colour 03 (Crystal Pink)- Estee Lauder
Lip Blossom Lipstick (Mandeville Dress)- Jill Stuart
Different shades of pink:
The bunny lipstick is a sheer bubblegum pink colour with a slightly glossy smooth finish (top line)
The Estee Lauder Lipstick is a bit more of a natural nude pink. It has a bit of shimmer in it and I think it’s the perfect colour to match with a feminine or elegant outfit for Easter brunch or dinner. (Middle Line)
The Jill Stuart lipstick has a brighter pop of pink with a slightly orange undertone. It would go great with a cute spring outfit for a date or outdoor activities!
I saw this sweater in One Spo (they have a bunch of cute bunny stuff in now) and I had to get it for Easter! I wore it in my recent video too!
Clothes with bunny details are so cute, or actually clothes with any animal details are adorable!
Also, Topshop has the cutest little Easter socks now!
I stopped by LUSH the other day and was so happy to see so many new Easter limited edition items!
We don’t have any holiday’s in Japan but I know some of you do (in Canada we have 4 days off work or school), so treat yourself this long weekend!
This is what I picked up:1. Humpty Dumpty (Description from website: Good for up to three baths! As soon as this cheerful egghead touches the water, his caramel-smooth personality is revealed in notes of bright bergamot and Brazilian orange oils. Crack a smile as his outer shell breaks away, revealing a hidden alter-ego, a perfectly formed fried egg (an all-vegan variety of course). If you’re in a hump and down in the dumps, it’s now easy to flip your spirits onto the sunny side.) 2. Bunch of Carrots (Description from website: Dig up the dirt on refreshing tropical bathing with this colorful trio of carrots. Hold one under running water to send bubbly clouds of buchu, lemon and grapefruit oils swirling around your bath, and then pop it on the side of your tub to dry for next time. The distinctive, bright colors of this heritage bunch make it an attractive addition to Easter baskets and bathtimes alike.) 3. Which Came First? (Description from website: If this sweet and citrusy bath bomb can’t answer the age-old question then what can? Crack open the generously-sized pink egg to coax out the surprise inside and enjoy three egg-cellent soaks over a couple of nights. Or, if you fancy something really decadent, use the entire bomb at once to infuse your bathwater with deliciously sweet, fuchsia waters brimming over with fruity fragrance. Why did the chicken cross the road? To get to the bathtub, of course!)
I also picked up some of the limited Sakura items. The round one is a bar you rub on your skin to exfoliate, and the flowers on a stick is bubble bath!
This is probably my most favourite LUSH smell ever, it smells like cherries! Sweet & fresh!
6. Cute Pyjamas/ Room Wear
Look cute Easter morning for breakfast or brunch at home, or just lounging around during the day!
Right now I’m loving either something bright and light for spring or something fluffy & cozy!
Pyjamas: Gelato Pique
socks: Gelato Pique
8. Pet Easter Items
Rosie’s Easter toy:
Let your pet join in on the fun! visit your local pet store to pick up some pet-friendly Easter treats!
9. A Smile!
Do what you love with the people you love! Take photos, make memories! Smile, laugh, be happy!
